Ipswich JAFFA running club hosted race 4 of the 53-12 cross country series on Sunday 11th January in the grounds of Suffolk Food Hall. It was a dry but cold and blustery day for this race, with the twists and turns of the course meaning the wind was against runners as often as it was behind them. GBRC had their biggest junior start to date, with 11 runners turning out, two of them for their first race. Sisters Katie and Milly Presland were first to cross the line for the Blue Vests, with Milly being first under 11 girl. They were followed by Michael Oates, Harrison Leek, Ben Lyon, Hallie Booty, Oliver Hill (first race), Emily Cook, Eve Cook, Megan Iddon (first race) and Amy Apps. The junior team finished in 7th place for the race and 8th place in the league.
