Training 17th July to 23rd July

There are some big changes to be aware of. Monday hills will not be happening for this cycle of training. We are trialling running hills on a Tuesday to allow people who use weekends for long runs to rest and join us for hills. Further to that, this week Vicky is offering a Tuesday AM Colchester hills session at Chanterelle to try and beat the heat that is due.It will be 7:30am. 

We have the 1000m cycle track this week and it will be an opportunity to get some endurance training in.

The summer schedule has a new colour code, to help you plan your week. The key to the different colours is at the top, we will aim for a speed and endurance session each week as well as hills and social runs.

Please save Sunday 21st August in your diaries to join us, if you can, to run in memory of Davina. There has been FB and email coverage about this already and there is a page on the website giving more details.

Have a good week of running, I am hoping, along with some fellow GBRC runners to survive Spitfire Scramble this weekend!
