Training 26th December to 1st January

This week’s sessions have been sent by Caroline, so please check your inbox to see what is on the offer. Notes from Caroline:

Firstly, I would like to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a happy and safe 2022.

Secondly, I would like to thank every LiRF and CiRF that has stepped up to help lead sessions this year. We have had to adapt and make changes at short notice and everyone has been fantastic. It is not easy to make sure we are able to offer a variety of sessions across the week, and we are trying new venues and days which seem to be going well.

Finally, I would like to say thank you to all of you, our members who turn up to the training sessions and put your best effort in. There would be no training sessions without you!

There is no run on Sunday as you have the option to join Runners Vs Riders at Friday Woods – Craig has posted about it on FB – as a club we have made a donation towards the running costs so it would be good to see some blue vests in the mix.

There is a hills session at Clacton on Monday, but not Colchester. We are offering a training session or a strength and conditioning session on Wednesday at Great Bentley. On Thursday, at the track, we have the middle distance part of the track (500-600m depending on people’s watches).

May Santa be kind to you, who knows there may be running gear in your stocking!

High Vis/Reflective clothing and lights are needed now it is dark.
