Blue Vests dominate at Harwich.

Ben Ficken led the way for Bentley at the Colchester Parkrun, clocking 19:04. He was followed by Dan Foster in 19:43, Patrick Reynolds 20:30 and Malcolm Jarvis 21:39.Youngster Harrison Leek achieved yet another PB of 25:28, nearly a minute faster, with Dad Shawn Leek just behind him in 25:30.
More PBs were had at the Braintree 5 on Sunday. Martin Owen, running well since the London Marathon, sliced over 6 minutes off his previous best time in 37:58, and Mark Crittenden took over 2 minutes off his in 44:59. Other runners were Mark Ross 34:52, Ryan Bedingfield 35:55, Karen Skene 39:05 and Eric Shaw 39:39.
Harwich Running Club hosted a duathlon on Sunday 27th April, consisting of a 3k run, 24k cycle ride, and 3k run. 19 Great Bentley members took part, and swept the board. Joe Alexander and Dan Foster were first and second men respectively, Vicky Presland and Claire Sawyer first and second ladies. Third and fourth ladies were also Bentley members; Anna Mills and Tricia Stacey. GBRC also took the team prize.
