This week’s sessions have been sent by Caroline, so please check your inbox to see what is on the offer. Notes from Caroline:
I hope you are all well, and having a good week of running. The doodle poll for next week is up and ready to join. We are lucky to have John Hyland, a well known coach from Colchester Harriers joining us for a training session in Great Bentley this Sunday. We don’t have the hall so we will meet in the train station carpark about 8:50am. I will be there and it would be good to have a great turnout.
Please wear bright/reflective clothing when training during the week. Reflective is best as car lights pick it up from afar. Bright clothing also allows the session leader to see you. It is hard to spot someone in the distance if they are wearing dark clothing and don’t have a light. Thursday at the cycle track will be lit.
The Friday morning runs will end with this one for a while. Dependant on work and demand, Vicky hopes they can return after the dark winter mornings have gone once more. I am taking the session on the 29th Oct. It will be mostly off road so I am going to say wear trail shoes and please follow light/high vis guidance above.
High Vis/Reflective clothing and lights are needed now it is dark.
Sessions will still be on doodle poll for a while. If a session has no takers, the leader can cancel the day before the session is due to take place. Please try to support these sessions as much as possible. If you can not find a link to current doodle poll please contact Mags at firstname.lastname@example.org
Please note: No ipods or music devices to be worn during any training sessions
