Caroline Searle – Head Coach
Hi, my role within the committee is to organise the training schedules and liaise with all the LiRFs and CiRFs we have in the club. I enjoy devising training sessions and coming up with drills to get everyone’s mind thinking!
I took up running when I found myself signing up for a 5k Race for Life event many years ago. From there I found a club, and running became a hobby. I decided to do my LiRF (Leader in Running Fitness) qualification after encouragement from coaches at GBRC. This then led me to take my Coaching in Running Fitness qualification, which allows me to write training plans as well as offer coaching advice, which I have done for GBRC members for half marathons and marathons.
