There’s only one way I could start this report – The London Marathon.

Considering how hard it is to get a place, there were a surprising number of us amongst the results. Paul Davison was the first of us across the line in an impressive 3:15:31 and was followed by Mags (03:44:36), Kathy Bishop (03:51:42), Rob Lee (03:51:48), Caroline Dyer (04:34:43), David Balfour (04:39:01), Donna Harris (05:03:17), Helen Coe (05:05:08), Fraser Lewis (05:08:57) and Michael Clark (07:35:39).  Amazing running everyone!

Closer to home Larina ran the Home Town Half Marathon running from Colchester to Brightlingsea along the Wivenhoe trail. 

On Saturday Michelle A, Alison C and Larina ran one of the Mid Essex Casuals ‘for horses, 4 courses’ trail events.  There were smiles all round so it must have been an enjoyable route. 

On Saturday there was the usual parkrun enthusiasm.  Bee B, Natalie M and Mel W went to Bushy parkrun which I’m assume was their NENDY as those girls love some parkrun tourism.  Phil P completed his first parkrun at Ipswich, which makes his 30^th different parkrun.  Full results can be found here
