It was a cold one this week; so cold it kept some of the hardiest of us from training and LIRF’s needed to cancel a couple of training sessions in the interest of safety. There were fewer of us than usual attending parkruns this week, possibly due to both Colchester ones being cancelled due to treacherous conditions as well as the cold. Clacton was the best attended with Mark J and Charlie K bagging 1st and 2nd place – well done boys! Raw Trail Events held their Let it Stow half trail marathon and a few blues took part. Unfortunately, they haven’t yet released their results so I don’t have a full list of who took part.

Wivenhoe runners put on a free 5K event in Wivenhoe which a few of us took part in.

Not a race, but also in Wivenhoe, a few of us decided to hit the trails of Wivenhoe and Alresford for a Christmas social run followed by a few bevies.
